Information for External Providers

Conforms with Section 8.4.3 of AS9100D

Standard remarks apply on all Kilgore Machine Company Inc. purchase orders unless otherwise noted.

It is the supplier’s responsibility to understand, implement and comply with all quality clauses imposed by Kilgore Machine Company Inc. purchase orders at the time of acceptance by supplier. If the supplier has questions, please refer them to Kilgore Machine Company Inc. Representative.

The need to:

  • Implement a Quality Management System.
  • Use customer-designated or approved external providers, including process sources (e.g. special processes).
  • Supplier- shall notify Kilgore Machine Company Inc. regarding any nonconforming product, as well as any and all changes in the manufacture of that product and obtain Kilgore Machine Company Inc. approval for nonconforming product disposition.
  • Supplier- shall have a counterfeit parts program in place. No counterfeit or suspect parts will be accepted by Kilgore Machine Company Inc.
  • Supplier- shall notify Kilgore Machine Company Inc. prior to any changes in product or process definition, including changes in their external providers.
  • Supplier- shall ensure proper flow down to the supply chain all applicable customer requirements.
  • Certification of Conformance is required for all raw materials, product processing, and calibration services.
  • As required by customer or regulatory requirements. Quality records shall be made available for review by the requesting authority. Supplier shall not release confidential information to an unauthorized party. Record retention shall be 15 years unless otherwise noted.

Kilgore Machine Company Inc. reserves the right to inspect parts to be manufactured or processed at vendor’s facility to ensure part quality as deemed necessary by Kilgore Machine Company Inc. or its customer representatives.

Supplier shall ensure that persons are aware of:

  • Their contribution to product and service conformity
  • Their contribution to product safety
  • The importance of ethical behavior.
  • The regulations prohibiting the discrimination against qualified individuals based on their status as protected veterans or individuals with disabilities, and prohibit discrimination against all individuals based on their· race, color, religion, sex, age or national origin.
